Okay 2017, here we go!

This year has a lot of changes in store for Eldwenne’s Fantasy!

This year I will be having contests at least once a month!  This month’s contest is “How Do You Handle My Jewels?” Yup.  Tweet pics of how you store Eldwenne’s Fantasy pieces and use hashtag #handlingeldwennesjewels

The contest is from 1/2/17-1/9/17.  The winner will receive a $40 gift certificate!

I’ll be drawing a winner chosen at random using a random name picking software.  All of the pics tweeted will be featured in an upcoming blog post, which brings me to my next piece of news…

My blog posts will be more frequent this year – PROMISE! My blog will have features on my designs, experiences at the conventions, and life in general – I’m in the process of writing “A Day in the Life”, as I often get many questions on what it’s like to be the owner of a small business.  Well, you asked for it!

Last year I announced I was in the process of putting together a book featuring all of my beautiful customers wearing my gear – I had to put the project on the back burner but am amping it back up again – so even if you’ve already tweeted pics, if you wouldn’t mind doing it again and tagging it #eldwennebook, it will make it happen a lot faster!

There is a new discount code for 2017 that all of my online customers will receive when they make their purchases that will give y’all a 10% discount! This code gets emailed automatically via etsy at the time of purchase so you can use it for the next time! Restrictions apply, so please read my shop policies/announcements for details : )

New items – there will be Eldwenne’s Fantasy shirts available very soon! Let me know if y’all prefer t-shirts, tanks, white, black, yada yada yada.  If you leave it all up to me, it’s going to be black v neck ladies tees.  The shirts are really epic – my hubby designed one for me for Christmas!

I’ll also have wooden jewelry boxes available soon too!  These are hand-painted, some will have some jewel work on them…lots of fun!!

Loyalty Program – I was so overwhelmed last year that I didn’t have the chance to properly run this.  My lovely friend, Destiny Whitaker will be handling this for me and I am in the process of backtracking everything to when it started and will be catching up slowly but surely.

Starting 1/1/17, the Loyalty Program has some changes as well – for every 5 items purchased, (not including fundraiser items), you will receive a gift certificate for $40.  This gift certificate can’t be used to purchase fundraiser items – because as you all know, the monies get donated, so I kinda hafta get the money in order to donate : )

Birthday Club – yes, another program that I totally didn’t get a chance to play with last year but will do my damndest to make sure it happens this year.

JaxCon is in 3 weeks – I’m looking to hire an assistant for this convention.  This is a paid position.  If you are interested, please email me eldwenne@yahoo.com with JAXCON ASSISTANT in the subject line.  Please note – this is a contracted position for this convention only – the candidates will be interviewed via google hangouts.

If you are hired, you will be responsible for all of your own expenses, including food, travel, lodging, etc.  You will receive a vendors pass for the weekend, which will provide general admission to all of the panels (except the Gold panel), as well as karaoke and the Saturday Night Special.

More details will be disclosed during the application process.  Only serious applicants, please.
